Windows 10: Internet on Windows 10 very slow

Hi, I've been having internet speed problems with my laptop (windows 10) for the past 3 months. Speed tests show speed is between 5 mbps to 23 mbps but it takes so long to load a page (every & any page for the most part). For example just now from logging in tenforums to loading this page took me 15 minutes and I think it was like 3 clicks only to get here.
My phone doesn't seem to have this problem and it loads much faster. Am I missing something. The speed wasn't this bad before 3 months ago. Is there some kind of setting on windows 10 that I don't know about?
Thank you so much. I hope someone can help because when I start working every morning I feel like wanting to pull all my hair out each and every day.

PS. I've used chrome, edge, chromium, firefox and even brave. They all seem to respond the same way

WIN10 internet SLOW!!!!!!!

Windows 10 download speed issues

Try this method:

• First of all from Start Menu, open Settings (Type settings in the search bar and it will appear).
• locate and select “Update and Security“.
• in this window, Locate “Advanced Options”. Click on it.
• In Advanced Options; Click on “Choose How Updates are Delivered“.
• Turn off Updates from more than one place.
