Windows 10: internet only reconnects after a reboot of pc

my pc will now randomly disconnect from the internet and will only reconnect if i reboot the pc,i did some research and tried all the solutions it gave me, and it still won't workthings I've tried:- uninstalling and reinstalling the Wi-Fi sub- cmd as administrator to flush dns- turned off power saving in device manager- network reset- literally re-installed windowsif anyone has a fix it will be greatly appreciated thank you

I tried 1, 6, and 5 but unfortunately, no luck.



I thought about trying some of the other options listed in the article. Unfortunately, your reply suggests it's important what order you do them, so that means it could take forever just trying different choices in different order. I'm kind of stumped. This is an exasperating problem because just testing one possible solution in many cases requires rebooting the PC, rebooting the router and kicking everyone else off the internet, then rebooting my PC again to see if the solution worked.

Very true, if you read my question literally. What I should have said was that after the router is rebooted, one PC reconnects automatically while the other does not. The only way I have found to restore internet access on the second PC is to reboot it. I'm hoping someone has a better solution.

 

Router disconnects from internet and reconnects

My router has been acting up lately. Its been disconnecting from the internet and eventually reconnects overtime. But the disconnect happens so frequently, its annoying and I've reverted to asking for help.
