Windows 10: Internet pages aren't loading when mobile hotspot is on

Discus and support Internet pages aren't loading when mobile hotspot is on in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; So my internet works fine and pages load without a problem but as soon as I turn on mobile hotspot on my computer everything except for youtube aren't...     Internet pages aren't loading when mobile hotspot is on


    So my internet works fine and pages load without a problem but as soon as I turn on mobile hotspot on my computer everything except for youtube aren't loading anymore. Tried a few things like restarting the modem, restarting my computer and something with cmd.exe but nothing worked so I am despairing because it doesn't make sense to me

    • How are you connecting to the mobile hotspot?
    • Which driver did you remove to fix the issue?


    It appears that you are using USB tither to connect to the mobile internet which is different from mobile hotspot or the computer is connected to a LAN (Wired network).

    If the issue is with your wired network, you may follow the steps mentioned in the article below.

    Enable Internet sharing/Mobile hotspot on Lumia 950

    Thank you for posting your query to Microsoft Community. We understand that you want to enable Internet sharing/Mobile hotspot on your Lumia 950.

    To enable Internet sharing/Mobile hotspot on your phone, please follow the steps below:

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Tap on Network & wireless.
    3. Tap Mobile hotspot.
    4. Tap on the On/Off slider to enable the Internet sharing/Mobile hotspot on your phone.
