Windows 10: Internet randomly disconects and settings crash

Hello,


I really hope someone has a solution as running a cable to this room is impossible.


My WIFI has strated disconecting at random intervals, I am stilll connected to my router but it will tell me that there is no internet connection. However every other device in my house is connected to the internet. When this happens if you click to look for other internet sources blue dots will appear like it is searching but nothing will come up. If you try to load the network settings they will not load. If you troubleshoot it will appear like it is looking for solution but will never stop looking.


I have tried everything I know:

- updated drivers

- ensured it was a private network

- unistalled device and reinstalled

- cleared IP and DNS confiqs


Systyem info:


Windows 10 Home 64bit

Asus PCE-AC88 802 wireless adapter

media player/internet explorer randomly crashes

i have had my computer going for about 5 months, and at times divx, windows media player, winamp, and internet explorer will randomly crash on me, i can play everquest for days, and any other game i got doesn't crash, everything seems to work fine except those programs, does anybody have any idea what this might be.

Method 1: I would suggest you to run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter which would tell us the reason behind the issue and check.

Follow these steps to run Internet Explorer Performance troubleshooter.

• Click on search and type troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Run Internet Explorer Performance troubleshooter.

Method 2: Follow the steps suggested in this link and check if it helps.

Method 3: I would suggest you to run
System Maintenance Troubleshooter and check if it helps:

• Press Windows + X key.　
• Select Control panel.
• In the search box, type Troubleshooter and then click
  Troubleshooting.
• Under System and Security,
• Click on System Maintenance and Click on Next button.
