    I checked literally every setting and property on device manager, did internet optimizations and checked motherboard and it is compatible. WHAT do i do? I have a b760m-a ax6 motherboard and also i use internet not ethernet because i just cant. I get 10 mb per second on average and when every other device comes into my room, it has over 200mbps. My pc is the only one with slow internet in the house. My router has been reset multiple times but just doesn't help, i use optimum 700mbps and have some Eero thing for internet my parents know i don't know some internet helper thing.

    Internet suddenly slow on Windows 10 PC, at same time ISP doubled bandwidth

    Running Windows 10 on a Dell Inspiron 660s. Wi-Fi/internet has worked perfectly for years. Suddenly as of yesterday, the internet speed I'm getting on the PC has slowed to a trickle. It seems to have happened at the same time my internet provider boosted
    the speed.

    For the last 6 months I've gotten a dependable 50 Mbps on this PC. 2 weeks ago the ISP doubled the speed automatically. For some reason the router was still only sending out 50 Mbps by Wi-Fi, but if I connected a device by ethernet, it got the 100+ Mbps.
    I continued to get a reliable 50 Mbps on the PC by Wi-Fi, which was plenty.

    Yesterday suddenly my PC internet speed dropped to a trickle - just 1 or 2 Mbps. However, coincidentally, the router is now putting out over 100 Mbps on Wi-Fi. If I connect my phone or an Ipad, on the same Wi-Fi connection, they are both getting 110 Mbps.

    I've tried re-starting the PC and router multiple times. Ran MalwareBytes and network diagnostics. Haven't installed any new programs.

    I'm wondering if after whatever changed to allow the Wi-Fi speed to more than double, the PC can't handle the new bandwidth.

    Hello, I have windows 10 from august 15, Recently I have taken broadband connection, but some websites come extremely slow, although my speed is 2 mbps, Pc also starts lately and hard drive has also become slow. I have scanned several times with windows
    defebder but no virus found. is my PC slow or Internet? And what I can I do to make it work faster? Pls help.

    Another Slow Internet Download Problem

    I've looked at previous questions about similar "slow download speed" and none of the suggested fixes has helped.

    My Desktop PC on wired Ethernet has slowed to a crawl. Before January 15, 2018 my download rate average was 126.7 Mbps. Since January 15. my average download rate has been reduced to 33.6 Mbps
    and sometimes much worse (~9 Mbps) using Chrome, IE or MS Edge. However,
    my Wifi download and upload rates remain high on both my Samsung Galaxy S7 and two HP laptops at 50 - 120Mbps. I've been using speedtest.net (OOKLA) to measure the download speeds.

    I have not changed the configuration over this time period. My PC is a stock Gateway LX6200-01 with:

    • AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-Core CPU;
    • Win 10Pro 1709
    • 8 GB of memory; and
    • Marvell Yukon 88E8071 PCI-E Gigabit Controller.

    My network consists of:

    • Comcast/Xfinity Cable/Voice/Internet Wifi modem
    • D-Link DGS-2208 8-Port 10/100/1000 Desktop Switch

    This is driving me nuts, since there web pages open really slow. Any ideas on what the problem might be and how to fix it.
