Windows 10: Internet speed drops down when i plug in the wireless receiver for my gamepad.

My system is a Realme 14 laptop running on windows 11. I have a 60mbps internet connection. Recently I have noticed my internet speed going down. I connect through wifi on my laptop.NO, I'M NOT JOKING! I HAVE CHECKED THIS 2O TIMES!Whenever I plug in my wireless gamepad receiver through USB Into my laptop, the internet becomes slow. I ran a speed test to confirm and I saw that when the wireless receiver is not plugged in, the results come out to be 65 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload. Now I'm repeating this, I'M NOT CRAZY!! There you can see mine (the largest) with some overlap- it shows different scans and networks over time.

- but the way you describe the problem tends to suggest something else.

 

Logitech Wireless Gamepad F710 Not Working with Windows 10

I purchased a Logitech Wireless Gamepad F710 that is supposed to work with Windows 10, and so far it does not.

Windows 10 detects it when I plug in its wireless receiver and turn it on; but in Windows Device Manager, the gamepad shows with a yellow caution icon and is said to not be working properly.

I have tried the gamepad's XInput and DirectInput modes and installed Logitech Gaming Software for it. In Device Manager, I have also tried:

• Automatically updating the gamepad's driver: Device Manager indicates that it cannot find an appropriate driver for it.
  
• Browsing to the folder under C:\Users\Joe\appdata\Local\Temp extracted by Logitech Gaming Software's InstallShield installer to update the gamepad's driver, indicating that Device Manager should check subfolders for an appropriate driver too: Device Manager again indicates that it cannot find an appropriate driver.
  

From the research I did online, I was unable to find a solution either. Has someone on SU had this problem and found a way to resolve it?

 

Recent drop in internet speed on wireless; ethernet OK

Asus laptop, approx 5yo. Windows 10, 64 bit. Version 21H1. All devices up to date via Windows Update.

A couple of weeks ago I started noticing that my wireless internet seed, down-and-upload, was dropping from 70 Mbps to anything from 25-56 (Ookla). Ethernet speed is perfect. Other devices show no drop in speed on wireless.

I have re-installed the network driver: Realtek 8821AE wireless LAN 802. 11ac PC1-E NIC

When running speedtest.net, the download speed starts fine, at a good speed, but suddenly drops, and does not recover fully. This happens every time I test.

Ideas welcome!
