Windows 10: internet speed

My ethernet card said transmission speed is 100/100. Is there a way to increase this speed. My internet provider said they are transmitting 400 mbps to me. How do I get my data at this speed on a win 10 pc. CAN IT BE DONE? If not then I need to pay for a lesser speed.

Slow internet speed on one of your computer could be due to the following:

• Outdated network adapter driver
• Different Wi-Fi chipset
• Computer processing speed

Make sure that the network driver of your computer(s) are always updated.

We also suggest you to contact your internet service provider for them to check your internet connection speed and give you more information.

Slow Internet speeds since returning home

I did. They ran through all the necessary steps with me to check and said they cannot see a problem on their end.
