Windows 10: Internet stops working after power outage on a desktop.

I'm here to help my friend. After a power outage, their desktop wasn't picking up any internet connections and was showing this error in the device manager[ I cant seem to sent a screenshot but it says " this device cannot start code 10. This device does not exist. ] its a realtek 8821CE wireless LAN 802.11ac PCI-E NIC

Hi there, I just had a power outage and i'm worried that my windows installation will be damaged. I have an SSD. Should there be any steps I should do now? What should I check?

 

My desktop stop detecting networks after a power outage???

So recently I had a very short power outage, about 5 seconds, and when power came back, my pc just stopped detecting any networks? My router is working, my other computer and all devices are able to connect, but my computer not only can’t connect, it shows that there is no internet to connect to??? I have tried pretty much everything and nothing works. It’s a very new high-end computer and I just don’t know why it won’t detect anything. It says “WiFi not Available” and whenever I turn off the WiFi for some reason I can’t turn it on again unless I restart my computer.

Any solutions?

• Which browser are you using to check the passwords and favorites section? Provide the list of browsers where you encountered the concern.
• Have you tried using another account to verify if the programs are still missing on your program list?

There is a possibility that the drive index has been corrupted. We highly suggest that you check your hard drive and scan for errors by following these steps:

• Open This PC on File Explorer and locate your hard drive.
• Right-click and choose Properties.
• Under Tools tab, click on Check Now button.

After scanning the hard drive, hidden files and folders, as well as lost data can be restored.
