  1. Internet stops working every 10 minutes or so. Please help.

    Hello!
I have an issue where my internet goes to "secured, no internet" repeatedly on an everyday basis.
This can range from every 2 minutes to every 30 minutes. This has been an issue for several months now, but by now I have sort of just had about enough.

To get it to work again I turn off my wifi and wait for about 10 seconds before I turn it back on, and even then will sometimes have to troubleshoot to get it to work. If I just troubleshoot without turning wi-fi off and on, it's usually not enough.

I know that it has nothing to do with my actual internet since it works fine on all other devices, furthermore, I've read about other people with Windows 10 who have the very same issue. Clearly without finding a solution, though. I suspect it does have something to do with power-saving since it usually happens more frequently when I'm streaming music or videos.

Things I have tried so far:

Resetting my router. Didn't change a thing. In fact, I've even changed internet provider and router for unrelated reasons without it making any difference. Even when using a mobile hotspot, connected by usb, the issue persists.

Resetting my computer. Curiously enough, this actually worked for a while until the issue reemerged. Not for very long though, and absolutely not worth doing for the inconvenience it caused me.

Unchecking power-saving permission in network adapter properties. Didn't change a thing.

I am begging someone to help me here, it's absolutely unbearable at this point.

    :)

  3. USB Headsets stop working after 10-30 minutes

My sound quits after about 10-30 minutes after playing Far Cry 2 and CS:GO for 20-30 minutes. There are no symptoms of any kind before the sound stops working. It works just fine when I exit to windows and relaunch the games. In CS:GO changing the speaker configuration from headphones to 2 speakers or any other configuration fixes the problem, though it recurs anywhere from 10-30 minutes later. In Far Cry 2 which doesn't have any options beyond adjusting volume, I have to relaunch the game and all is well for 20-30 minutes. I'm running a fresh installation of Windows 7 and have tried different USB headsets (Logitech H 390 and Arctic P531) both of which give me the same issue. Can anyone please help me solve this issue?

Method 1: Run Internet Connection Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet connection. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your internet.

      Large icons.

    • Click on troubleshooting
and click on the view all option on the left panel.

    • Run the Internet Connection troubleshooter.
As you mentioned that after downloading Windows 10 Run escape stopped working completely, I suggest you to install the game in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Method 2: Follow the steps below on how to install the Game in compatibility mode:

    1. Download the Game from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

    2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

    3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

    4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

    5. Let the Game install and then check the functionality.
