Windows 10: Internet won't turn on

    Internet won't turn on


    My computer is very old, my parents got it around 2008. Recently, it's stopped connecting to the internet. The internet button on the right side of the taskbar only tells me that the computer isn't connected, and that I can choose to turn the wifi back on "Manually", "In 1 hour", "In 4 hours", and "In 1 day'. Trying to turn the wifi back on from settings or from the button on the taskbar doesn't help, because they just keep resetting themselves.

    Is this a problem with the computer itself? Can I solve it? I use this computer a lot, and replacing it isn't an option for me right now.
