Windows 10: Internet won't work on Pc but Window 10 detects it

    Internet won't work on Pc but Window 10 detects it


    The internet on my pc abruptly stopped working last night and i haven't been able to fix it. I am 100% certain the fault is a driver issue - my own router and broadband connection is fine and fully functioning. I have scoured the internet for solutions and since have tried resetting the network in the command prompt, uninstalling the network driver and finally done a network reset on windows. After each step, i restarted my pc and I had working internet for about 5 seconds before it went off again. Windows detects the internet connection and the troubleshooter says its working fine, but i cannot access it through any app, Chrome or Edge. I use McAfee antivirus, uninstalling it has done nothing. I am completely out of ideas and wanted to try other things before a fresh install as that not be ideal for me. Any help would be much appreciated.

    pc won`t update

    I`ve been trying to solve this problem for 3 months to no avail.

    PLEASE HELP!!!

    EVERY time the computer check new updates, the following message appears:

    We couldn't connect to the update service. We'll try again later, or you can check now. If it still doesn't work, make sure you're connected to the Internet.

    My PC is connected to the internet, so this could not be the problem.

    you`ve only directed me to a window link, which I don`T really understand.

    Could ANYONE PLEASE send me a simple answer how I can solve this problem step by step???????

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
