Windows 10: Internet works just fine, but can't get onto any game servers. Anyone know a fix?

So, I have been having an issue with my internet or pc?, where I can surf the web just fine Youtube, Discord, Google, the works, but the moment I try to get into a game server I either get booted seconds after joining, get a network connection error, or just go into infinite loading.If it helps to know, my roommates don't seem to be having this issue, and I have exhausted many options, including but not limited to:-Resetting my TCP IP-Changing my DNS Servers to 8.8.8.8 and the alternative to 8.8.4.4.-Clean BootingIf anyone can offer ANYTHING else of value, please help.

Games not matchmaking but internet is fine

I recently purchased a new gaming laptop and I have been encountering issues while trying to download and play games like apex legends, Fortnite and other games.Whenever I attempt to play,I receive error messages indicating matchmaking error or server connection problems , strangely my internet seems to be working fine in other applications,I tried various methods to try fixing it like restarting router,flushing DNS,restarting, disabling and enabling the internet,I would appreciate your assistance in fixing this problem

both suggestions to fix internet explorer failure didn't work. and I even went on you tube and tried another suggestion too and nothing so far has worked. internet explorer did not work before I downloaded windows 10 either. so I don't know what the problem
is. can someone suggest something else. I have looked on this forum and cannot find any other solutions. the two answers that were given where together from the same person. I cannot get internet explorer to work at all and we need it to work for Java running
games in POGO. if anyone can suggest something else, and please don't be technicial or please at least give me step by step directions because I'm a hands on person who doesn't have a degree in this stuff and I consider myself as dumb as a box of rock. thanks

Internet Not Working In Windows 10

As from the above mentioned description, I understood that you are not able to connect t MS Store and Edge. Did you try any troubleshooting steps yet?

I suggest you to run a Network troubleshooter by following the steps provided below:

• 
  Type “Troubleshooting” in search box and press Enter.
  
• 
  Click on “View All” which is on top left pane.
  
• 
  Select “Network Adapter” and follow the on-screen prompts for troubleshooting.
  

I would also suggest you to check if the date and time are correct on your computer. See below for help:

• 
  Check the setting for Date/Time by choosing the Desktop tile and then left click on the date/time in the corner.
  
• 
  Click on change date and time settings. And then verify the time zone is correct as well as the internet time tab has the option to Synchronize with Internet time server.
  

If the issue still persists, try disabling the proxy connection if you have any and check. Here is the steps:

• 
  Click the Gear box at the top right corner in internet explorer.
  
• 
  Click the Tools button, and then click
  Internet Options.
  
• 
  Click the Connections tab, and then click
  LAN settings.
  
• 
  Uncheck Use a proxy server for your
  LAN.
