  1. Interpretation of a dump file

Hello,it is a while few months that with my notebook Acer Aspire 3 A315-55G-76Z5 I am having several BSOD with different error codes, typically after many hours of use more often late in the evening. The blue screen always stuck on 0% and no dump files are ever created. I tried many solutions: scan health check, restore health, memory test, but the BSOD continue happening. So I decided to make a repair upgrade, so that I went from Win 10 Home to Win 10 Pro. Unfortunately the BSOD continued happening even after the upgrade.I updated some drivers mainly chipset Intel, and all the drivers fr

Could use assistance interpreting a crash dump

I have an issue where my computer seems to crash when going into sleep mode, and also randomly reboot whilst already in sleep mode.

Consequently I've had to stop using sleep mode whilst I try to understand what's wrong.

I installed Windows Debugging Tool and tried to interpret the .dmp files, and messed around with some symbols, but no luck.

This only seems to have started happening recently, I'd say within the last 2 weeks.

Could anyone help me interpret these crash dumps? WeTransfer | Send Large Files Fast I would be eternally grateful

Is there a step-by-step guide anywhere to debugging this, or does it really require a lot of pre-requisite knowledge?

How should I interpret a crash dump file?

A dump file is just that: a list of the contents of RAM at the time the file was created. Without something specific for comparison - for example, having the program code and the anticipated activity in RAM - looking at a dump file is an exercise in guessing.

That's what people do here. They have a utility that parses the dump, and from that they try to guess what went wrong.

For your sake, I hope they guess right.
