No. mine is definitely crooked, slanted. You only notice it close up, so It's not that big a deal. Would have been nice if they caught it before shipping it though. One other MVP reported the same thing on Yammer. Oh well, it still looks nice on my mantle. *Biggrin

Usually the issue is not attaching the image in the post from the paperclip icon after uploading it.

 

The size of the file (how many bytes) will factor into it. I had the same issue until I figured out the files I was uploading exceeded the maximum file size limit. I just open them in paint and resize them to 50% of the original. Then I can upload them. I got no message they just wouldn't upload. My camera is set to high quality and that makes the saved files on the large side.

 

Or use the snipping tool to make a smaller picture. I actually use Screenpresso though.

 

Snipping tool usually isn't an issue. It's pictures I take with my camera that are too large, file size wise. Pictures of my Raspberry Pi mods and builds.
I think I get were your going though. Put my image full screen then use the snipping tool to create a new image? That will work, not sure its any quicker than resizing with paint though?
If I think of it, I'll try it next time I have to upload a picture I've taken with my camera.

 

I think either way will work just as well. Probably the best way is the way you're used to doing it. I'm just such a bad photographer, I usually need to cut something out, so snipping tool is easier for me.

 

I crop almost all the screen shots I take with the snipping tool to remove personal info etc. Microsoft seems to like to display your e-mail in the weirdest places. Never thought to use it on a image file as well. Old habit is to just open paint.

Anyway, enjoy the new trophy's everybody. This is year 5 for me as an MVP. I saw some images on Yammer of the old trophy's with 5, 10, and 15 year etc markers on them. Impressive.

 

it was an image saved to desktop, I browsed for the jpg, clicked for it to upload then it shows me a blank page.

It's ok tho really, was worked out in the end. Was proud to share.

 

What exactly does it mean to become an MVP? Do you get paid for doing testing or something?
