Windows 10: Intune Win32 App Install Error 0x800700C1

I've created a few Intune Win32 applications, but the two most recent apps I've created are giving me the error 0x800700C1 on some devices. It seems to install fine on most devices, but there are one or two devices that the apps will not install on. Older apps are working fine.The two apps in question are both Win32 apps that are configured to run a PowerShell script. For the first app, the script installs a few MSI files, and the second app simply creates a scheduled task. I have many other apps that are doing the same things that are working. Both scripts work fine outside of Intune. Here's

List the EXACT "blah, blah" you mention, here please... for ALL installation cases!

(Sound like a possible "DLL-Hell" issue, but "Windows File Protection" &/or "System File Protection" should have countered for this... no biggie, there's ways around that too!)

I have got the error 0x800700C1 and could not update KB3115259, KB3167685, KB3163018 & KB3149135 since a week ago. I tried both you two methods but the result was the same. I don't wish to follow hbja to go back to "Factory Setting". Can you help me sort
it out with other solutions?

troubleshooter:

• Press Windows key + W and type
  troubleshooting.

• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click Windows Update troubleshooter.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
• Check if issue persists.

If the issue persists, follow next method.

Method 2:

I suggest you to check if the services responsible for Windows update is running. Refer to these steps:

• Press Windows key +R, type “services.msc”
• Locate the BITS, Cryptographic, MSI Installer
  and the Windows Update Services and check if it is running.
• If not, right click on the service and click start to start the service.
