Windows 10: Invalid Cursor error when trying to open a picture

Discus and support Invalid Cursor error when trying to open a picture in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Hi.     Invalid Cursor error when trying to open a picture


    Hi. When i click on one of my photo's, I get an error saying Invalid Cursor or if I try to share a pic people can only see Blank page. Anyone have any tips to what is going on.Or have i changed something I shouldn't have ?? Please :

    invalid registry error when try to open images.

    I understand that you receive invalid registry error when try to open pictures. We will assist you to resolve the issue.

    As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to download and install any pending updates that needs to be installed on the computer through Windows update and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

    If you are trying to open the pictures through Photos app,
    I suggest you to run the app troubleshooter and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

    Can't open pictures

    Hi,



    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



    I understand that you are getting error when trying to open Pictures on your computer. I'll certainly assist you with the issue.



    However, please let us know:



    • May I know the default application that is set to open pictures?
    • Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer?



    It could be possible that the application set to open pictures is not working properly. If Photos app is set as the default application to open
    pictures, I would suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the article

    Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store    .

    Invalid Cursor error when trying to open a picture

    the handle is invalid HELP!


    I'm going through the same thing right now. i tried to go in and come in on safe mode but it still would give me the same error. Now it will take my password, start to log in and bring up my main screen but it blip then goes back to the sign in page where i put my password in it would give that 'invalid handle" message.
