Windows 10: Invalid Drive D:/ Cant install a launcher

I previously installed Paradox launcher v2 in a corrupted drive, When I try to install it in a new drive using Windows Installer, It keeps on saying Invalid Drive D:/ and ends the setup wizard. I’ve tried everything and have uninstalled the launcher using a troubleshooter, Can anyone help?

Invalid Drive upon install

I had previously downloaded a games launcher to an external HD (D:/) which subsequently died during the install. now whenever i try to install the launcher to my C: drive it comes up with error invalid drive: D:/ ive tried the windows uninstall tool but
it didn't change anything. any suggestions

Hey, so today I figured out the problem thanks to the Epic Games Launcher, when trying to open the app it said "Invalid Drive /" The thing is, for some reason, Windows changed the letter of my Hard Drive from D to E. I changed it again by following the steps at Epic's website called "What do I do if I recieve the error "Invalid Drive" when installing the Epic Games Launcher"

In summary, the cause of the problem is:

1. The program files were directly deleted and the installed drive letter was deleted before uninstalling Epic correctly.
   
2. The installation drive letter was directly formatted and deleted before uninstalling Epic correctly.
   

Personal solution: Press Windows+R > Navigate to the following path:

Expand Uninstall and find your current Epic Launcher step by step > Here my key is {EEE9E1BB-04A6-43AD-AA2F-AEEEB0E91773} > On the right you can see InstallLocation > Now go to the drive you want to install e.g. Create a new folder Epic Games under 'D:'> and then return to the registry; right-click to modify and change the drive letter to your new "D:"





Then reinstall the Eipc installer to observe how the problem manifests > The current method is only effective for scenarios where the program has not been uninstalled cleanly or merged and migrated.
