    Invalid value for registry when playing an mp3


    I would be grateful for any help on this. I have just tried playing an old mp3 file on my computer & am suddenly getting the error message Invalid value for registry. I then tried lots of other mp3s & am getting the same with all of them. Running Windows 11 pro.Many thanks

    Whenever I try to open up one of my mp3 files, the "invalid value of registry" will pop up and it wont let me play it. Don't know what the issue is. Also, I don't know if this could be related, but my groove app won't open. Every time I click on it, nothing
    happens. Please help, thanks.

    Win 10 - Invalid value for registry

    I updated my Win 8 to Win 10. Now, I keep getting error "Invalid value for registry" when trying to view picture (.JPG) or listen to music (.mp3). Is there any way to fix this for win 10? Thank you.
