Windows 10: Invest in UX and UI Animation

    Invest in UX and UI Animation


    So I'm a big fan of using virtual desktops and workspaces, I even encourage our team to do so to but the gesture animations are not so smooth. Also sliding between desktops is not smooth. Showing the Window equivalent of Mission Control is not fluid. I feel that you should animate it well with the trackpad gestures. Also smoothly animate the desktop switching when clicking an already running app on the taskbar which is refocused from another desktop. The same goes from widgets and the notification center animations. Gesturing on the trackpad should be consistent with the animation. Thank you.

    Hi Guys,

    I'm a newbie here and don't know either this is a right forum to post or not. Admin you can remove my post if it is against any rule. Well, I'm working on a web project and for this I need ui/ux design services providing team. As ui/ux team works alongside the frontend services team, so, should I outsource my project or hire the both team? Please suggest me the best solutions.

    How to disable UI animation in Windows 10 Mobile

    920, but I do not expect it should be phone model specific.

    The issue is I could not find a way how to disable animations built in the Windows 10 Mobile UI like "Opening an application", "Returning to Start", "Opening an application from app list", "Returning to app list", "Settings animation", "Resuming background
    app". To better understand what kind of animations I mean see .

    How to disable UI animation in Windows 10 Mobile

    How can I disable UI animations (like selecting an app from a list, launching an app etc.) in Windows 10 Mobile (10186.11)?

    On desktop SKUs of Windows 10, it is in the System control panel - Advanced - Performance, and in the Settings app - Ease of Access - Other options. However, I could not find that setting in Windows 10 Mobile.

    Is there a way how to turn it off? My eyes are not happy of these animations (disturbing, needs to constantly refocusing etc.).
