  1. Invisible window behind my open windows

Not quite sure how to put this so bear with me.

Whether I am closing my last open window to shutdown, or a multiple of windows to shutdown or go to the desktop, there seems to be a ghost window that closes last. It is not seen until I close all windows and it too closes. I try to catch it with my cursor, but it is only there for a split second, then it closes. Pretty sure I am not supposed to see that window and it makes me wonder if there is some site that is shadowing me, as in monitoring me without my knowledge.

If anyone else sees this window let me know. Look up at the top of the window you're closing, hit the X to get back to the desktop and for a split second it is evidently there. I have looked at task manager as my windows are open, but can't seem to id this ghost window.

Has anyone else experienced this? I wonder if this is why my computer has performance problems.

Also when my desktop is up, but I am doing nothing, all of a sudden there is a whole world of clicks going on as though someone is using my computer as extra processing space. I have the firewall and security and my network is secure all Microsoft, updater or other file maintenance programs are not running, and yet the computer is processing like crazy.

And finally, when my computer slows to a crawl because of all this activity I look at task manager and 100% of my CPU is being used. I scroll down as fast as possible top see what it is, and it slows to a stop and I never seem to see which program or service is using so much of my computer. Seems just the act of looking slows that use to a crawl until it is gone altogether. That is another reason I think someone is using my computer processing and disk to process their stuff. Like I am overflow for the internet and my space is being used as a server to pass thru programs.

No I am not certified as a nut. Just making observations. Thanks if you read it. Would love to hear from you and if I could put a stop to it. I think my computer would be so much faster if all the extraneous **** that happens did not happen while I was trying to do things.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
