  1. Invoke multiple instances of application using shortcut key?

Hi there,Running the following Windows 11:Edition: Windows 11 Business Version: 21H2 OS build: 22000.348 Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.348.0 I am running WSL2 and have created a link to "ubuntu.exe" with the traditional "Copy Paste Shortcut" method, and then added a shortcut of "Ctrl+Alt+T" to be able to invoke it.Whilst that all works well, once the application is running, subsequent presses of the shortcut key do nothing. Double clicking the link creates a new instance, so I can only presume it's something to do with the way Windows is handling the shortcut keys.I

  2. E71 shortcut keys and application shortcuts

I have owned my E71 for three weeks. There is something very wrong with shortcut keys and application shortcuts. I have a SIM free phone. My e-mail shortcut key works for a while when I turn the phone off and on again: one short press = opens e-mail and
one long press = new e-mail message. But after a while, pressing the button causes nothing to happen.

I have read another thread about this and tried to assign different functions to the button but I end up with everything working for a while, then all the shortcut keys failing. So I reset everything to default.

I know that some people have suggested that having more than one e-mail account might cause this. I have deleted a second e-mail account but this has not helped.

Today I assigned a new application shortcut so that the first button was a new text message. Shortcut has never caused a problem before. Now, pressing this produces a flicker, and then nothing.

There is something wrong here. I would appreciate any suggestions of a resolution. I don;t think the previous answer marked as a 'solution' will cure everyone's problems.

  3. How to prevent multiple instances of an application

the only time that works is when the program itself is written to prohibit multiple instances

if the programmer didn't do that with this program

then there really isn't any method to preventing multiple instances

To get a shortcut key for the calculator, go to your desktop and then follow these steps for Windows 10

    1. Open the start menu

    3. Click and drag the calculator app to your desktop

    4. Right-click on calculator and open properties

    5. In properties there should be an option to add a shortcut key
