    Involuntary BIOS Update Stuck.


    I recently bought a new computer and was having a few issues with it but I chalked it up to just new computer bugs. I was having some audio problems, the computer was saying the audio device wasn't installed or something. I decided to restart my computer thinking that it would fix it. Well when I turned it back on the black BIOS software update screen was on. I had no chance to consent to the update and it started and immediately was at 12% and has been stuck there for 20 minutes. I am afraid to do anything and all of the information I see online says to check things but I have no control

    Still can't reproduce. Could you please post the exact BIOSes that produce the issue?

    BIOS stuck in a loop.

    • Did you get any error messages?
    • Have you tried to boot in Safe mode?

    Involuntary BIOS Update Stuck.

    Stuck on Bios- custom PC - quick re-build ques

    There is an updated UEFI Bios for this motherboard... but it's still listed as Beta and requires a complete clearout of the the previous Bios. As the OP is still on "Small Steps" I think it would be prudent to let this pass... *Wink - - - Updated - - - Use USB 1.1/2.0 port
