Windows 10: Iomega Portable SCSI 2GB Disk Drive

I have the above device, Model No. V2000S, and have purchased a converter to plug it into laptop via USB but can't get it recognised. I assume I have to have some sort of new drivers to get it to work as the original disk that came with the drive is not recognised either - too old I assume. Can anyone please advise me what I need to do to get this drive to work in Windows 10? There are some disks that I need to access and check before disposal. Thank you in anticipation.

With a Windows 10 update I'm no longer able to access my Iomega Portable backup. It won't boot up. Can you tell me how to fix this?
