Windows 10: Iow to access registry of RegistryPath in WDF driver of 24H2?

I have a KMDF driver, in which I use RtlQueryRegistryValuesRTL_REGISTRY_ABSOLUTE, L"\\Registry\\Machine\\System\\CurrentControlSet\\Services\\..."... to access registry item.But when verifier of 24H226100 enabled, error item is recorded in System.evtx, in which it says "Registry operations should not use absolute paths. Detected querying of values under unisolated registry key relative to RTL_REGISTRY_ABSOLUTE".So that I changed the first parameter of RtlQueryRegistryValues to "RTL_REGISTRY_SERVICES". Then the error in System.evtx changed to "Registry operations should only use key handl

Power Management support for a WDF driver

Hi,

I am using a sample WDF driver for the OSR FX2 board.

After installation, I am not seeing Power Management in the device manager for that driver.

I have made the registry changes as suggested on this page: Redirecting

I don't see it yet.

How do I enable it?

Is your issue resolved or are you still facing the issue?

Blue screens (BSOD) is mostly occur due to hardware and sometimes due to incompatible software. In a lot of cases it is a corrupted driver or a driver conflict. The most common causes of blue screens are overheating, faulty RAM,
and video card problem.

The WDF_VIOLATION indicates that Kernel-Mode Driver Framework (KMDF) detected that Windows found an error in a framework-based driver.

I would suggest you to hardware manufacturer site of your system and install/update the firmware and check if it helps.

Let's follow the below steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Step 1: I suggest you to download and install the latest graphic drivers on your computer. You can download the latest drivers from the manufacturer’s website.

Follow the steps to update all other drivers from the Device Manager:

  Right click on Start button, type
  Device Manager and Enter.
  
• 
  Find the drivers which needs to be installed and also see if there are any warning symbols. If yes update the drivers.
  
• 
  Right click and click on
  Properties, and go to Driver tab and click on Update driver.
  

Step 2: If the issue still persist, I suggest you to perform an automatic repair on your computer and check if it helps.

If you need an installation media, I suggest you to download and create the installation media using the follow Microsoft link, which contains the Windows 10 ISO file.

Perform Automatic Repair steps.

• • Insert the installation USB and boot Windows 10 from it.
  • In the ‘Windows setup’ page select the ‘language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’ and the ‘keyboard or input method’ and click on ‘next’.
  • Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.
  • Click on ‘Advanced options’ and select ‘Automatic Repair’ and select the operating system.

Windows 11 24H2 Bitlocker encryption
