Windows 10: IP helper needs constant restarts to allow Xbox Connection

Trying to play Forza 4 with my friends and the only way to get online is if I open services and restart IPhelper, however this only works for a few seconds to a few hours.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

"Server connectivity = blocked" on Xbox app on Windows 10

Hi MoonBunny17,

If your server connectivity is "Blocked", it means that your computer was unable to establish a Teredo IPsec connection to the Quality of Service (QoS) server. Since you've tried the troubleshooting steps from our support page, let's try to restart the "IP
Helper" and "Xbox Networking Service" by performing the following steps below:

1. Press the Windows Key + R to open the Run box.
2. Type "services" and hit enter to open the Services Window
3. Scroll down until you find an entry called “IP Helper”. Right-click on it, and then click Restart.
4. Scroll all the way down to the bottom and do the same thing for “Xbox Live Networking Service”.
5. Close the window, open the Xbox app and check your connection again.

If the issue persists, I recommend that you try connecting your computer to another network to see if that will change the server connectivity on the Xbox app.

Service "IP Helper" deactivates after every restart - Teredo is unable to qualify

Service resetting could be avoided by setting the Service
Recovery to Restart the Service. I suggest you to try the steps listed below and check if it works:



Set Service Recovery to Restart the Service:

• Press ‘Win + R’ keys on the keyboard together to open the Run dialog box and type the following into the Run box:
  services.msc
  
• Locate IP Helper service and right click on it.
  
• Choose Properties and go the Recovery
  tab.
  
• Set the following in order:
  
  
  
  First Failure = Restart the Service
  
  Second Failure = Restart the Service
  
  Subsequent Failures = Restart the Service
  
  Reset Fail count After = 120
  
  Restart Service After = 0
  
  
  
• Click OK, save the changes, and reboot the machine to see if the issue persists.
  

If the issue persists, as the issue is related to Teredo connection, you may want to uninstall and reinstall the Xbox app. Uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox app has fixed the issue for many.



Uninstall and Reinstall Xbox app:

• Right click the Windows icon on the taskbar and choose
  Windows PowerShell (Admin).
  
• Copy paste the following command and hit Enter:
  
  Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxApp | Remove-AppxPackage
  
• Reboot the machine and install the Xbox
  app from Microsoft Store.

NAT Type Open but "Server Connectivity: Blocked" On Xbox Companion App

I've been trying to look for a solution to this for months, I've sooo many steps to try and fix this issue, but nothing seems to solve this issue. The only thing that seems to help is restarting IP Helper. IP Helper helps because it more than likely will
change the status of the Server connectivity to "connected" from "Blocked", but this only works for around 5 minutes then it will revert back to being "Blocked". Any suggestions?
