Windows 10: Iphone 15 Pro Max will not connect to Link To Windows App

I have an Iphone 15 Pro Max and an HP all in one Envy, I have been trying to connect my phone and PC together via the Link to windows app but have had nothing but connectivity issues. Will not connect via the scan or any other way. Anyone else having this issue?

W11 Pro & iPhone 13 Pro Max Phone Link App contacts not working properly

I am also starting to use the Windows 11 Phone Link app with my Apple devices. I currently only have it synced with my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I am having problems with being able to create new SMS messages to send to people that are not already showing up in the messages list on the Phone Link App in W11 Pro. The people are listed in the contacts list but when I start a new SMS message and try to type either the name I have them listed as or their phone number the Phone Link App does not recognize them/find them. This means there is a disconnect going on with my contacts list(s) and the app. I am a corp. IT professional with 25+ years experience, so I have already gone through the initial setup process, done the bluetooth connection, accessed my settings on my phone and laptop (this is only for my W11 Pro laptop - don't think the phone link app is available for W10 Pro and don't want to complicate my life with having this synced between 2 laptops - especially when both laptop sit on the same desk) and have turned on sync settings where appropriate.

I am really looking forward to getting the Phone Link app working properly because it enables me to not have to use email all the time to send quick things to my close friends or reach out to them on their phones if I don't get them on other SM platforms like Discord for example. I also like to send links over to my friends for quick things.

Phone Link not working with my iphone 13 pro max

Based on your description, we understand that you are having issues in connecting and setting up Phone Link on your Surface Pro 7 and iPhone 13 ProMax where it would just sit and stuck on the connecting phase. Let us work together in troubleshooting to and get this sorted out.

What Windows version, edition and OS build is your Surface Pro 7 running on? To check, go to Windows Settings > System > About then check under Windows specifications section.

Are both devices connected to the same network?

First, may I know how are you trying to connect both devices with Phone Link? Is it by scanning the QR code? Please check this page and make sure to follow the steps provided: Phone Link app requirements and setup - Microsoft Support

1. Find the Phone Link app in your Start menu. (You can also search for this)
   
2. Open the app. Under Pick your phone, select iPhone®. If this is greyed out, your PC’s Bluetooth may be turned off or is not yet available yet.
   
3. Follow the step-by-step pairing instructions.
   
4. Scan the QR code presented on your PC with your iPhone®'s default camera. This will initiate Bluetooth pairing.
   
5. Make sure you grant permissions on your iPhone® to sync your messages, notifications, and contacts to your PC. See below on how to do this.
   

If issue persists, do you have any third-party antivirus installed on the Surface? If yes, please try disabling it first then try connecting again.

Please try also to run the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit on the device to run some system checks and repairs then check for updates again in Windows Settings > Updates& Security to make sure all updates are installed including Optional updates.
