Windows 10: iphone 6 image duplicated with random number prefix

hello everyone, my dad has a iphone 6 and the iphone was backed up somehow on his laptop I forget how it was backed up back in 2019. It has created multiple duplicates for which I am not understanding how it was made. I am not sure if icloud created these duplicates or if windows did. It's not just this particular photo, there are multiple files for which these duplicates exist with a prefix number in the beginning of the filename. Most of these files are whatsapp images/videos but there are some which are IMG_xxxx.jpg files as well. As you can see in the above screenshot, the date modified

My E 6 phone doesn't recognise same number with or without the prefix

I got an E 6. It is frustrating me beacuse I hae numbers saved some with prefix and others without. The phone doesn't recognise the same numbers with or without prefix. This makes it hard telling who is calling or texting

 

duplicate files appear with prefix~s

if we open a document or image ,after the restarting the computer duplicate files with prefix ~s(file name).

for example-for file name cv.docx ,a duplicate file with name ~scv.docx appears by which u cant open the file.

how to solve this.is this virus. I have mcafee security.

 

syncing images to pc & back to iphone

Hey there I have a bit of a dilemma. I want to do this:

1. sync images from my iphone to my pc
2. run jpegmini on the images that are now on my pc from my phone
3. replace the existing images on the iphone and icloud with the new smaller compressed images to save space and avoid cloud conflicts with the same files with different file sizes

Surely this probably isn't as straight-forward as those steps above, right? Any feedback on what to do differently than the above or should I just stick with the above?
