Windows 10: iPhone 6s not detected by my Windows 10 but iTunes does detect the phone

Hello, since some time my Windows 10 PC won't detect my iPhone 6s. When I plug it in it sees a device, starts charging but I dont see my iPhone in file explorer.This is what I see in device manager. Funnily iTunes sees the phone but I need to transfer photos.Devices tab in settings shows either this or "driver error"Prerequisites:1. My Windows 10 is up to date.2. My iPhone is up to date.3. I tried different USB ports - no luck.4. I tried connecting my phone to other PCs with same cable - works like a charm without any problems whatsoever.What I did to solve the problem:1. Personal Hotspot on iPhone not detected on Thinkpad T480s

I used to be able to connect my iPhone 6s (iOS 13) to my Thinkpad T480s (Win 10 Pro, 1903, latest updates) via USB-C and use the personal hotspot on the iPhone to connect to the internet. This worked without any issues for several years through several upgrades of iOS and Windows.
Now I switched to an iPhone 11 Pro (iOS 13) and the T480s does not detect the iPhone's personal hotspot any more. Personal hotspot is turned on on the iPhone 11 Pro. The T480s sees the iPhone and I can browse its content.
The personal hotspot on the iPhone 6s (also iOS 13) is also not detected any more since I updated the following Apple software on the T480s to the current versions:

• AppleApplicationSupport64
• AppleMobileDeviceSupport64
• AppleSoftwareUpdate

Am I missing something here?

Windows 10 not detecting iPhone, even though iTunes does

Same here; If I install iTunes current version 12.5.1.21, the iPhone is detected in iTunes. But not from Windows 10 1607 to have access to the DCIM folder on the phone;

If I uninstall iTunes and do a "Scan for hardware changes", the phone gets added with a nice icon as "Apple iPhone" in windows 10.

So it's one or the other ...
