Windows 10: Iphone 8 plus not recognized from usb cable

I just bought a new usb to lightning cable and when i plugged into my computer it says: usb device is not recognized. help!

Windows 10 Does Not Recognize iPhone

Hi,

I connected an iPhone 7 plus to my Windows 10 (version 1709) computer. The computer is not recognizing the phone. I tried plugging the USB cable into multiple ports on the computer but the issue remains. I am not sure if this is a driver issue. If it
is, does anyone know where I can get the drivers so my computer recognizes the iPhone? If it is not a driver issue, does anyone have any other suggestions?

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

2. Have you installed the Latest Version of iTunes?

Method 2: iTunes Is Not Recognizing Your iPhone.

Method 3: Uninstall And Reinstalling iTunes.

Step 1: Follow the steps mentioned in
Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later and completely uninstall iTunes from the computer.

Step 2: Once you uninstall iTunes from the computer, restart the computer once, and install the latest version of iTunes from
iTunes.
