Windows 10: iPhone excel version keeps overwriting my local cloud version of file. Even though I don't...

I use Excel on my windows 10 laptop using WD MyCloud as a network drive to save a file. MyCloud has an app that lets me access the files from the hard drive. I opened Excel mobile version on my iPhone and then browse to the file via Locations list, tap More to see MyCloud listed. First time I see the file it has a cloud on it with a down arrow. I assume I need to click it to see the file and once I do that the file no longer has the download cloud on it. I view the file just fine and then leave the update (the app always says "updating" as I leave the file). I then go back to my laptop and open the file to edit and save items. I go back into the iPhone Excel program and open the same file and I don't see the updates, just the last version of it. I then exit the program and see the "updating" again. I go into my laptop and what ever was on the iPhone has replaced my updates. I am unable to do an update on my laptop that doesn't get over written with the iPhone version once I load up the file on the iPhone. I have to do the update on the iPhone in order for the laptop version to get saved edits. Talked with Microsoft and they just told me it is the WD MyCloud causing the problem, but I believe the iPhone Excel is opening a local version of the file once downloaded and then it automatically updates it to the cloud which overwrites my laptop version. My thought was to just erase the iPhone version every time I do a laptop update, but when I did that it erased the laptop version. So the laptop to iPhone sync seems to be the problem or excel just doesn't look for an update if there is a local version. Can't get rid of the local version either.

Cloud saves are overwriting my local saves

I am trying to copy a save from one computer (computer A), to another (computer B). The game in question is Resident Evil 7 (if it matters)

I've been able to locate the saves and copy them over to several friends computers (using the same version off the Microsoft Store), and all works fine for most people.

However, two people have run into an issue where, upon launching the game, their local saves are instantly overwritten with their cloud saves.

Is there some setting for Xbox Play Anywhere titles where cloud saves somehow prioritize over local saves? It's only happened to 2 people out of a test of about 10, so I'm assuming something just needs to be disabled.

Cloud saves are enabled on all 10 systems. What happens for most people, is those new saves end up getting uploaded to the cloud and can then be used on their Xbox One version, as well. I'm stumped in trying to figure out why this keeps happening to only
a few people.

About half the people testing this out have an Xbox One, and the other half doesn't. One person this issue happens to doesn't even have an Xbox One...

Any suggestions would be wonderful!

I just bought a Samsung Focus AT&T Rev.1.3. It comes with OS version 7629. I don´t know wich version is that, NoDO? Mango? Third Pary apps just crash after I open them, help!

 

WP Excel won't open cloud Excel Files

I am running WP 7.5 and use Office 2010 (32 bit) on my computer.



I have been using my WP to open/edit Excel files stored on Skydrive for some time.



Suddenly, WP will not open the same files which it could open just awhile ago.



I have used Office to edit these spreadsheets since the last time I opened them with WPExcel and saved them in the same format as before.



WPExcel states:

"Can't Open. Excel doen't recognize the file format "<filename"".



Yet these files open without issue with Excel 2010.



Any suggestions?

Update - it seems that WPExcel will open cloud Excel files that have not been recently opened by Excel 2010. Those files operate properly. However, once I open them with Excel 2010 and save them - WPExcel can not open them. Problem with Excel 2010?
