Windows 10: iPhone USB Hotspot/Tethering not working

I don't really know how to proceed, as it is not a question. I have seen some questions on this forum about Tethering via USB not working. I've seen a guide from 2024 that told you a series of steps and even reinstall iTunes. As Apple says on their website, iTunes is practically deprecated. For tethering to work you have to install the Apple Devices App https://support.apple.com/en-us/118290 and as soon as you install it, your iPhone asks you if you trust the PC, you accept and if you follow the steps in the reference guide https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/iphone-15-pro

Windows 10 - Iphone X tethered hotspot not working

Hello all!

I've upgraded my phone recently, from an Iphone 6 to an Iphone X; for some reason using the new one as a tethered (USB) hotspot does not work anymore.

Here is a list of what I have tried so far:

• Updated both Itunes, Windows and the Iphone to the latest update patches
• Resetting Networks on both windows and the Iphone
• Restarting both devices
• Disabling the Windows Firewalls
• Updating the Antivirus Software (Kaspersky)

I did try the exact same phone, and the exact same cable, on a Macbook and it worked. My old Iphone 6 used to work on my PC, but it doesn't anymore.

The phone is connecting to Itunes and syncing normally, though it is classified by Windows (on device manager) as "other devices".

I did catch a glimpse of the famous hotspot blue bar (which means hotspot is active) before it disappearing instantly.

Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you!

USB tethering of iPhone 7 doesn't work on Windows 10

Can anyone help with this please?

I have the latest version of iTunes installed on the laptop and my iphone appears as connected but it does not appear when I click 'Show available networks' in the network status window.

In my Device Manager, it also appears as 'Unknown device' under 'Other devices' (maybe this is the problem - if so, where do I find a suitable driver to update the missing driver?) and as Apple iPhone' under 'Portable Devices' . I can't see anything under
the 'Network adapaters' category that suggests it is connected.
