Hi all,I recently installed OneDrive to sync movies from my iPhone 12 Pro Max - iOS 17.6.1.Noticed that the iOS OneDrive app in the iphone shows the file movie attributes, but when syncing with the computer Lenovo with Windows 11 Pro the files do not show those attributes! I am afraid to loose info such as creation data/time of the movies. I saw in other questions that Georeferenciation data is also lost. Please help :

[SOLVED] Name, Size, Date, Dimensions, Type. Can I?

"PS: I don't know if it matters but all my folders will have pictures and text documents both. No folder is just a pic only or text only."

The reason your preferences don't stick is that the default folder view is different for each type of folder, ie; Documents, Music, Pictures, etc. Select a folder under This PC. Once you've got the Details headers that you want, r-click/'Customize this folder'/Optimize this folder for'; select, say General items, since you want the same for all folders (don't forget to check 'apply to subfolders, if you want). Follow the screenshots here and AFTER you click Apply then OK, go to the Folder View settings suggestion shown in post 2 and your setting will stick. Repeat for all primary folders listed under This PC and you'll be good to go (will not apply to Desktop though). You can customize every type, ie; I have almost the same as yours for Pictures but for my Videos folder I have Length added and for Music, the Artist and Track #, for instance. Good Luck

Date Created is Ambiguous for Image Files

I ran some tests with the iPhone and found that all of the JPG files have "Date taken" in the EXIF data. The MOV files don't have that attribute. The MOV file's Date modified property may match the actual date taken, but not if the video was subsequently modified (which includes trimming and compressing). Date created, by default, will end up being the date/time the video is copied to another drive. Directory Opus includes an option (which is checked by default) to preserve Date created, so I tried that with the iPhone and it worked great. That is, the copied files were given the same Date created as the source files. For MOV files, Directory Opus's metadata pane just showed the standard file attributes (e.g. Date modified, Date created) and the extended attributes of Comment, rating, and tags. Whereas JPG files have all of that plus a long list of photo-specific data, including Date taken. So, it comes down to a limitation of the MOV file format. It looks like the best you can do is preserve the Date created from the iPhone by using a file manager such as Directory Opus. The iPhone mounts as MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) so I couldn't see any way to use Robocopy or FastCopy with it, but I may have missed something. I didn't want to fiddle with it too much and Directory Opus was easy, so I used that.

How to prohibit changing the file creation date?

Hi. When I transferred files from one laptop to another via a cloud service, all files got dates when they were added. Why? Is it possible to prohibit changing at least one of the date attributes? Because now all the date attributes are equal the data
files were transferred from the cloud ((( Creation date=Date=Date Modified... How it even possible that the creation date attribute can be changed?!
