Windows 10: IPv4 communication stops when computer is installed in equipment rack

This is a strange one. I am running Windows 11 Pro on a Dell workstation. When the computer is on my desk next to the equipment rack, everything works normally. Once the computer is installed in the equipment rack, IPv4 stops working. I can remote into the computer even though the computer's network says I am not connected to any networks.I am using the same port on the switch and the same network cable I tried switching both without any difference. Everything in the Ethernet setting is set to DHCP and I already tried reinstalling the network driver, and used the ipconfig/release, ipconf

This is a strange one. I am running Windows 11 Pro on a Dell workstation. When the computer is on my desk next to the equipment rack, everything works normally. Once the computer is installed in the equipment rack, IPv4 stops working. I can remote into the computer even though the computer's network says I am not connected to any networks.

I am using the same port on the switch and the same network cable (I tried switching both without any difference). Everything in the Ethernet setting is set to DHCP and I already tried reinstalling the network driver, and used the ipconfig/release, ipconfig/renew, netsh winsock reset, nets int ip reset commands without any change.

Ran Wireshark on the computer and when on the desk it shows normal IPv4 communications. When installed in the rack, is only shows IPv6 communication. If manually configure the computer with a fixed IP address, everything works normal, and IPv4 communications is shown in Wireshark.

Any Ideas?

 

no communication between computer and keyboard


Dell computer, W 10, is four days old and it suddenly stops communicating with the desktop. Logitech mouse still active and moves around on screen, but there are no letters written. Microsoft updates made no difference. switches are on and batteries new.
Any suggestions?

  Click on Start.

  Type: view installed updates
  
• 
  Hit Enter
  
• 
  Look through the list for the
  KB3035583 update.
  
• 
  Right click it and click Uninstall.
