Windows 10: IPv6 Heisenberg connectivity?

Hello. So I have a Windows machine that has IPv6 connectivity, yet Windows is claiming that it doesn't.On test-ipv6.com I'm getting 10/10. On ipv6-test.com, both on that machine and on another Windows machine which goes through the same main router for the Internet purpose, the former just goes through an additional hop I'm getting 17/20 ICMPv6 and reverse DNS host name are missing.I can access IPv6 websites just fine. Windows says "No Internet access" and other CLI things say it only has LAN access via IPv6.My current IPv6 address on this machine is fd0f:6e1a:98df:1000::2000. Default ga

Connectivity (IPv4/IPv6): Disconnected

Ideally this Connectivity (IPv4/IPv6): Disconnected, means that the devices in not in use or not connected and it could be any device for example, Ethernet, WIFI, Bluetooth or Local Area Connection.



If you are using WI-FI for internet connection then Ethernet will show Connectivity (IPv4/IPv6): Disconnected.



In order to understand the issue and assist you accordingly, we need some information

• What is your network setup?
  
• Are you seeing any errors?
  
• Where you are seeing this information?

Meanwhile, try the troubleshooting steps referred in this article:

Fix network connection issues in Windows and check if it works.

IPv4 and IPv6 Connectivity?

If you have IPv6 enabled for the network adapters you will see a default IP handed out in status, but when you list in Command all requests for DNS, you will not see any IPv6 ip's.

I really would not worry about it as I stated before. It will not have any affect on using the Internet or connecting within your network.

We suggest that you run Network Troubleshooter. To do so, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key.
• Type Troubleshooting.
• Click Network and Internet.
• Click Internet Connections.
• A window will open, click Next to proceed with the troubleshooting.
