    IRQL not less or equal when booting pc


    Whenever I start my computer, I get booted into Advanced Settings, but if I try to continue to Windows, I get the BSOD irql_not_less_or_equal. If I suceed in getting past that screen to the pincode it says: Pincode is not configured.Any solutions?

    sorry,,i'm going to try again to get an answer

    i recently upgraded an asus eee pc x101ch from windows 7 starter to windows 10 home

    on every 'other' power on/boot i get the blue screen with irql not less or equal,,but with no other code,,the pc then shuts itself down

    i then re-power on/boot with no error. in other words the error seems to be self correcting on every other power on/boot.

    this pattern never varies....boot error,,, reboot noerror,,boot error..reboot no error etc.

    what conclusion can i draw for this and based on the conclusion,,what would the fix be

    i've seen no other post on this site describing the irql error etc. in this way
