    Hi,

I have 2 identical DELL XPS 15 (9560) with Core i7, 8Gig of RAM, SSD and they always worked well. One of them started crashing with blue screens of death and IRQL errors about 3 weeks ago. I did a clean install on it with no improvement. Then I updated all drivers, BIOS and made sure Windows update was showing that it was up to date. No luck.

I even swapped the RAM from one machine to the other to see if the physical RAM was the problem, and the issue didn't move with it.

This morning I tried running driver verifyer but when it crashed I still got the regular IRQL not less or equal error so I disabled it as it was slowing down my machine a lot. Not sure if it produced a log that could be useful somewhere...

I lost at least 30 hours of productivity trying to resolve this with no luck so far. I will have to consider throwing this $2500 machine in the garbage if I can't solve this here...

Is there a superhero here who can help?

    :)

BSOD - IRQL Not Less or Equal Error

I've been getting BSODs every few days recently with IRQL Not Less or Equal errors. Following the procedures

    from this Microsoft Answer
, I ran Driver Verifier. I got repeated BSODs at that point (with no .sys file listed in the error, unfortunately), and had to restore from a System Restore point to get back into Windows.

My Minidump file is linked here:
    https://rg.to/file/dbb5141b2be49325b51a1a90269ec177/Minidump_022518-9515-01.rar.html

Please let me know if I need to include any other information in order for to diagnose the issue.

Thank you in advance for your help.

  3. BSOD Driver IRQL Not less or equal

I keep getting the BSOD and the error of "BSOD Driver IRQL Not less or equal" What failed: Wdf01000.sys

The dump file and the ini file are here:
    https://www.dropbox.com/sh/pi30ogsobiazk5y/AABZAnKBgAWVbBy4uUYCN7c4a?dl=0

I have tried rebooting and updating all the drivers but nothing works. It happens mostly when I run a program called NexRemote but it says it is up to date and it doesn't seem to be a widespread problem.

    Any suggestions?

Frequent BSOD from DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL (among other reasons)

I'm running windows 10 on an Acer Aspire. Computer likes to crash up to 3 times a day. The error codes vary.

    I have an incomplete list:

DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL

    KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE

    DIVIDE BY ZERO

The BSOD screen promises to reboot itself, but I've let it sit for 2 hours before, and it doesn't. I've always done a hard shutdown.
