    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL after ram installation but win7 32bit working!


    I have a desktop pc with 3GB RAM, win7 32bit and win10 64bit (both working fine).
    I installed 16GB RAM (throwing away the old 3GB).
    After that, win7 32bit is working fine (saying installed memory 16GB, 3,50GB usable).
    But when I boot from win10 64bit, I am getting a blue screen with the error IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
    The same happens when I try to boot from the hard disk partition where I had started the installation from for win10.
    What could be the reason for this strange behavior?

    4GB RAM in a 32bit OS

    Ok, so my RAM is failing and i'm in the market to buy some more. i'm using XP 32bit, with the likelihood of upgrading to Win7 soon. i know 32bit OSes can't handle more than 3.5Gb at most and that 64bits love RAM.

    i have only one question:

    is it fine to install the 4Gb and still use 32bit OSes until i upgrade to 64bit?

    HD3650 AGP + Win7 32bit

    now I know there's an new agp hotfix that's at version 10.10 but there is no link on the AMD/ATI page for the windows Vista/windows 7 x86 32bit driver, there is however links for both XP 32bit and win vista / win7 x64

    can anyone point me at the last working Agp hotfix that works with win7 x86 and an HD3650

    all the ones i tried were fail kept having BSOD's and atimkdag restarts

    never mind problem solved it looks like CAT 8.12 fits the bill so far so good not one single bsod or crash since installed
