Windows 10: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSoD causing Automatic Repair Boot Loop in Windows 11

I've had a Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 laptop for a couple of months, and I've had two instances of an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screen that caused the "Automatic Repair" boot loop. Both times I was not able to fix the issue using one of the supposed fixes involving booting into the command prompt and using bootrec.exe and bootsect.exe, and I ended up having to reimage the drive using a Lenovo USB recovery thumb drive.Both times this happened, I was doing nothing more than browsing the web with MS Edge.The MEMORY.DMP is available here.

BSOD and "preparing automatic repair" loop

Hello,

After upgrading to windows 11, my laptop Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-52) , started freezing randomly. This was non existent in win 10.

Now its booting to a BSOD page witht the stop code "ntfs file system"

On next restart it boots to " preparing automatic repair" page which keeps running for a long time with no change/progress

(This page does not show any restart/advanced option)

I am not able to enter bios on boot. Tried pressing f2/f8/f12.

So the laptop is currently booting in a loop between the BSOD page and then preparing automatic repair page.

Any help/suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Automatic repair loop

Here are the steps I generally recommend to fix automatic repair boot loops:

Use Check Disk Utility

Fix Boot and Rebuild BCD via Command Prompt

Restore Windows Registry

Delete the Problematic File

Disable Automatic Startup Repair

Check Device Partition and OsdevicePartition

Perform Refresh or Reset Your PC

Startup repair. The repair will attempt to fix any broken components/files which may prevent your device from booting properly. To do this, follow the steps below:

• On theAutomatic Repair screen, select Advanced options.
• Select Troubleshoot.
• Select Advanced options.
• Select Startup Repair.
