Windows 10: Irritating UAC Behavior in Win11 vs. Win10

In Windows 10, when requesting to run an application as an elevated administrator, we have our GPO set to "Prompt for credentials on the secure desktop". The result is we're immediately shown a prompt asking for a username and a password.In Windows 11, when doing the same as above with the same GPO settings applied, we need to perform additional clicks in order to get to the same username/password prompt. First, you need to click "More Choices", then you need to click "Use a different account", THEN you're shown the prompt:So, here's the list of possible values for "ConsentPromptBe

Tab Stops in Notepad for Win10 and Win11

I have created a *.txt in Win11 using TabStops.

My collegue is using Win10 and continues editing.

After his work, the document looks very strange.

I found out, Win11 uses 5 Space but Win10 uses 8.

Can someone confirm that behavior?

How can i adjust the tab width in Win10 or Win11 Notepad, i could'nt find an option.

In General: Why it was changed without an option to modify?

 

win10 UAC windows dosen't display text

My Win10 Version is:

• Win10 Professional
• Version: 1709
• OS Version: 16299.192

When I open a application as Administrator, The UAC windows is displayed, But the text is hidden, like the follow image:

I suggest you to disable the UAC-(Select the bar as shown in the below screen shot) and check with the issue. To open User account control settings, follow the steps:

• Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
• Type User account control settings.
