Windows 10: Is 24-bit audio available on the Windows 11?

I have the Galaxy Buds 2 pro, and my phone is the recent samsung one, that's why, I can use the 24-bit audio on my phone finely, but on my PC, I don't have a 24-bit audio option, so I want to know if really the Windows 11 at least support it. As well, if that's a yes, I want to know who has samsung laptop and have how to select 24-bit audio, since I suspect there's some Samsung limitation to "force" you to buy Samsung laptop and/or who know Dolby Atmos, mainly my PC is a desktop:

Audio bit rate does not stay on 24 bit, it changes to 32 bit

hi, im using win 10, installed the driver for my audio interface m-audio m-track 2x2 and the audio bit rate does not stay in 24 bit 48000 but it changes automatically to 32 bit 48000

my problem is that my mic does not work on 32 bit, audio output is fin

so how do i force windows to stay in 24 bit 48000 at least on my mic?

Is there some way to import the Windows 7 drivers that do work for use in Windows 10 or 8.1?

It seems that as long as a particular audio format (e.g. 24 bit, 192000 Hz) shows up in the pull down list, the media player software (foobar, Kodi, etc.) running in Windows will play the music file. But if the format is not listed, an error is displayed
by the player. Is there a way to trick windows into determining a format is acceptable even if it was deemed not to be by Windows?

Do we know how Windows determines which formats are available within the HDMI-connected AVR? And, perhaps, how that handshake could result in inaccurate results?

The computer has no sound card. I am just using the audio integrated to the motherboard. With your advice, I have disabled and removed the drivers for that. All I do is bitstream the audio out of the HDMI 2.0 jack to the AVR.

This arrangement works fine on Windows 7 - I get all the typical HD Audio options. But with Windows 10, I still get all the HD options except for the 24 bit, 192000 option. The only option I have now for audio devices is the HDMI output to my AVR. I have
removed all the rest.

Both operating systems are 64 bit. The HDMI audio is set for 7.1 speakers and all test fine with the audio formats available.

Are there any other options you can suggest?

Given all works fine with Windows 7, do you think it is an issue with the Denon AVR?
