Windows 10: Is all the problems related to not installing bios update?

my asus vivobook laptop gets a bios update 5 months ago, but i did not install it because bios update is risky but now for some weeks my laptop started lagging, chrome and other windows stops responding, some times shows software error and black screen comes but again quickly normal screen restores and after windows updates the screen gets black for a longer time then its restores its screen after that long time. Today the touchpad stops working , there is no cursor,i tried everything but touchpad doesn't working.....plss help me

BIOS update

i have momo GA-945PL-S3P(rev. 6.6) BIOS version (f4)
when i look in gigabyte website i found f5,f6,f7,f8 BIOS versions for my momo.
do i need to update my BIOS version ?
if i have to update, shall i install the last one (f8 ) or install each one ?
is it risky to update my BIOS version because i have no experience in bois update , is there easy step to update my bois?
