Windows 10: Is AmonVelvetG by Eternal Mind A Virus?

So when I first got this computer, I was downloading all my necessary files and accidently hit a weird button, which unfortunately had a trojan virus in it. I only found out after clicking it, because I had yet to download my antivirus. I was able to remove most of it, but I'm wondering if this is a remnant piece of it. It uses a small amount of memory and no cpu. However it is always running in the bg and I can't delete it because I either don't have the permission to end task, or it gets upset because the app is open/running. I can't upload photos for some reason but the task manager looks l

Chrome wont install- eternal downloading bar

• Hello all, I uninstalled chrome because it would not open. It currently will not install, just shows an eternal downloading bar. I have windows 10. Tried downloading it a few different ways , No luck. Any solutions?
