Windows 10: Is anyone experiencing crashing on all games after the December 8th update?

While I'm not sure its the dec 8th update thats the cause of my issues, I'm really unsure what else it could be. Ive already done two clean installs with DDU on my Nvidia drivers, one to roll back to the previous driver and one with the current and every game still crashes.

I've already checked temps on my hardware and nothing goes above 60c before crashing. I should also mention these are all crashes to the desktop and not complete system crashes.

If anyone is having or has had the issue before and could poiny me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

Cumulative December update

I tried to download and install the December Cumulative Update from the website you had listed and did not have any luck. I received error messages stating that it would not install and it still has not come through windows update. Do you have any other
suggestions?
