Windows 10: Is ESO from MS store playable with steam friends/people?

Heya. I wanted to ask if you can play ESO with steam friends if you bought an Xbox gamepass for pc. Thanks

Steam- Friends

i use to use steam friends when steam first came out. and over more and more people got steam and the friends list got crazy. it would work on day and not the other. when friends use to work in steam. i use to pwn. it was like a memory for me.

 

Steam Friends cross play

OK So basically I got the pc game pass. Me n my mate wanted to play Astroneer. Now I bought mine on Microsoft n his on steam however in the xbox app where you download the games I could link my steam. But none of my steam friends appear online or even
on my friends list though it says the account are linked.

 

MS Zoo Tycoon 2 games on Steam?

Has Microsoft considered bring the old Zoo Tycoon 2 games to Steam at all? They have loads of content availablefrom the expansion packs and they are still very playable as games. Just what with Frontier's new Planet Zoo game coming out in November these
older games would be a superb alternative.

They would need to be fixed to enable fullscreen 1920x1080 res to work with modern widescreen monitors. Although the option is in the list of resolutions in the game I still always get black strips down both sides of the screen.

If MS could consider releasing these old games on Steam I am sure they would be very popular.
