Windows 10: Is evaluation version of SQL Server 2019 same as Standard Edition?

We need to prepare environment to test some app. It should be similar to our clients environment and he uses SQL Server Standard 2019. Can evaluation edition of sql server 2019 be used on our environment, cause we don't want to pay for additional sql server standard instance.

Am running SQL server standard edition 2016 on my ERP production environment.

I would like to get a redundant high availability server and the license am getting since we are a not for profit org is as shown below.

1. SQLSvrStd 2019 SNGL OLP NL Chrty, SQLCAL 2019 SNGL OLP NL Chrty UsrCAL

Will these (bullet 1. ) work for my mirror server? or can it be converted/downgraded to 2016 sql server standard.

Hello,

I would like to install SQL Server developer edition on my Windows 7 machine. SQL Server 2019 is not compatible. I would like to try earlier versions but cannot find download links for them.

There is some information on previous SQL Server versions on microsoft site in Products/Previous Versions section, but no download links to developer editions, only evaluation downloads.

So the question is: What is the latest version of SQL Server developer edition that works on Windows 7 and how can I download it?
