    Is https://wholsalekeys.com/ a legitimate source for Microsoft Licenses?I know a person who has purchased multiple RDS CALs and activated them succesfully. They are also listed as a Microsoft Parter on the MS website. I have also reached out to MS Support but you can't speak to anyone without a support contact ... why would anyone need to talk to someone for support just to ask a question you know?.     To correct the original post: the Microsoft blogger's name is Scott Guthrie, ScottGu is his username *Wink Is https://wholsalekeys.com/ a legitimate source for Microsoft Licenses? ;).

    Emphasis added by me. Scott Guthrie's blog post does not mention the term "open source" anywhere, merely that the source will be released; there is no mention as yet of the license it will be released under, but I imagine it will be fairly restrictive.

    Additionally, I don't see why this is such a major thing... Reflector has been around since .NET 1.1 and allows you to view the source code of any assembly by decompiling the MSIL back to your preferred language (C#, VB.NET, etc.). Not only that, there are plugins that can then dump the decompiled source to disk - so if you really need to debug a third-party assembly, there's nothing stopping you. (Obviously this doesn't hold true for assemblies placed in the GAC or those with Strong Names.)

    The real benefit of this release, IMO, will be the ability to step through the actual MS source code, as well as being able to see the comments written by MS developers.     Source to use for DISM on Windows 10


    This is not completely true. The suggestion is to download the Techbench version and use DISM to apply to install.wim directly. However, you can also use the version download from MCT except it will involve an extra step as follows:
    1. Use the latest version of 7-Zip to extract the content of install.esd. For example: to a folder xxx on the desktop
    2. From Admin command prompt:
      Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\xxx\windows /LimitAccess

    See screen shot, the contents of install.wim and install.esd are exactly the same.
