  1. Is it a corrupted Win10 installer and how can I fix it? Win10 Pro 10.0.19045 Build 19045

I've been managing with this issue for months now but it's preventing me from installing apps that use the windows installer and stops windows from rebooting. Here are some symptoms:1: Windows update gives error 0x8024000b trying to install this update "Visual Studio 2022 version 17.11.5 security update."2: Every time you try to reboot it says an app is preventing shutdown. It lists one generic app that doesn't exist in task manager, can't see what that app is. Trying to reboot right after startup you still get this error.3: Trying to install software that uses windows installer doesn't work,

    Win10 Preview install problems

Trying to install the Win10 preview. I've created a 50 Gb partition on my primary drive for the install. When I try to install 10, I get a error saying 10 can't be installed on the drive. The drive is of the GPT partition type. From what I've read, I need to convert my drive to a MBR partition type. The only instructions I can find about that involve converting the entire drive, meaning I loose everything on my main drive. Is there a way to convert just the partition I created for the Win10 install to a MBR partition type?
