Windows 10: Is it an error on the external drive - it does not seem in Crystal Disk Info... I:/ ...?

Tried to PLAY FILE-VIDEO.MP4 FROM EXTERNAL USB SSDGETTING error message codes different between Video Players tried: 0xC00D36C4, 0xC10100BFIs it an error on the external drive - it does not seem in Crystal Disk Info... I:/ ...?How do you check it and repair it...?THE PROBLEM MUST BE WITH THIS EXTERNAL USB SSD DISK...0xC10100BF0xC00D36C4

You need to run the HGST Fitness test on that last dive. Crystal Disk will give faults cautions on some drives

Always go to the manufacture of the drive to confirm tests, and always backup. Even on good drives

 

Crystal Disk Info Reads "Caution"

One of my HDD's is showing "Caution" in Crystal Disk Info. I did a disk check (dskchk) and there was no error's found. The drive is old. Do you think it is just on its last leg? (look at the hours) I wish they used better terminology than "Caution" (to me that could mean anything) I might format the drive, that might help. (not a quick format, it should scan and fix problems there) Here is a screenshot of Crystal Disk Info beside chkdsk windows.

Don't worry with the third disk (only one sector reallocated is nothing), but the first has 28146 hours which is a long while...

I suggest you to use another tool : Hard Disk Sentinel , which is much better than CrystalDiskInfo !
