Windows 10: Is it just me, or the fingerprint doesn't wanna show up in device manager?

Hello.First of all, I wanna apologize for what I've done.2nd, so after 2 years of using my laptop, I realized that there is a fingerprint reader integrated with the power button!Now what's even more funny, is that even when I got my laptop, the fingerprint sensor was not detected/installed at all!After a Windows 11 clean installation, I tried to install the fingerprint drivers again Downloaded the files from my laptop support webpage, but nothing happened. So anyone any clue on how to solve this issue?Thanks

fingerprint doesn`t work

My fingerprint doesn`t work for many times, and i read the advices of the site, but nothing works. The fingerprint fix itself, but after many days and the problem repeat and repet. It is anoying. In the settings says "this option is unvailable" for every option! Why??? How to fix it?

Fingerprint issue/Power Management

already tried the credentials service one, not of any help. I guess the only fix is from the power management tab

1. Press Windows Key + X and choose Device Manager from the list

2. When Device Manager opens, locate your fingerprint reader. It should be located in Biometric Devices section.

3.Right click your fingerprint reader and choose Properties

4. Navigate to Power Management tab and uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

5. Click OK to save changes.


I want to follow this step but I cannot find the power management tab.
