Windows 10: Is it me or is the Photos App just a collection of bugs?

I'm a recent Photos user so I do not know if I am dealing with long-term issues or if they are from the latest update. And I wonder if I am doing something wrong. I am running Win 10 on a HP Envy 360. It has an i7 processor 7th Gen and 16GB of RAM. Win 10 and Photos are both up to date. A few issues:1. Initially I was unable to add any photos to a new album. I could see the files both in Explorer and in Photos but the files would not be added. After restarting Windows and Photos this problem went away.2. I was able to add the pictures in Photos to a new album and spent several hours

How can I control what is in the photo collection?

I understand that you are facing issues with photo app on Windows 10. Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

I suggest you to perform the below steps and check if it helps.

1. Open Photos app.

2. Click on Collections.

3. Then right click on the unwanted pictures in the list and click on
Delete.

Also click on Folder option in Photo app and check the file location of the pictures.

photo app - How can I do a slideshow in an album? I only see the slideshow option outside of albums.

  Open the “Photo App”
  
• 
  Go to any three options “Collection”, “Albums” and “Folders”.

  Click on any “Photo” and press the key “F5” it will launch slide show.
